Pray without ceasing – Day 31

”I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.”John 15:5.

Does a grapevine produce oranges, or does an apple tree produce strawberries?  When we are abiding in Christ, the vine, He produces fruit through us that manifests His Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness and self-control).  Pray for His abiding Spirit so we can glorify God with our lives.  Abide in Him, and  you will grow to be more like Him, producing remaining fruit.

Pray without ceasing – Day 30

“For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we were among you for your benefit, “ I Thes. 1:5.

Pray for the Word of God to be preached in the power of the Holy Spirit so people will receive its full benefit.  Pray for men and women to share God’s Word, in the power of the Holy Spirit, leaving the results to God.  Prayer makes THE difference. Thanks for praying.

Pray without ceasing – Day 29

“Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.”
John 15:4 .

It is Christ in us that allows us access to God, the Father.  When we consciously yield our lives to Him, we have the freedom to ask what we will, not of ourselves (our selfish nature), but from the power of our new nature, and we receive what we ask. What loss we experience when we fail to yield our lives to His intercession through us! Have you learned how to walk in the Spirit?
